A Priority Development Area (PDA) is a site declared by the state government
to facilitate the development of land in Queensland for economic development
or community purposes. Existing interim land use plans and development schemes
for sites previously declared as Urban Development Areas (UDAs) remain valid
and those land use and development requirements still apply, and can be
referenced as PDAs under the Economic Development Act 2012.
