**USER NOTICE**: Layers marked as Deprecated will be removed on November 1st,
2024.
As of April 5, 2024, responsibility for maintaining QLD heavy vehicle routes
and areas, marked as Deprecated, moved to the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator
(NHVR). The NHVR maps can be accessed via the [National Network
Map](https://www.nhvr.gov.au/road-access/route-planner/national-network-map)
and NHVR Portal. Please ensure you switch to National Network Map. For more
information on the [National Network Map](https://www.nhvr.gov.au/road-
access/route-planner/national-network-map) visit the NHVR website.
Replacements for the now deprecated QLD Globe layers are available via the
NHVR map server:

Maintenance of the deprecated layer data ceased as of April 5, 2024 and should
not be used to identify approved heavy vehicle routes in Queensland. For any
issues relating to the deprecated layers please email [support@spatial-qld-

All route types which are not marked as deprecated will continue to be managed
by the Department of Transport and Main Roads.
