The Indigenous land interests dataset identifies;certain types of land in Queensland held for the benefit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, including Aboriginal land, Torres Strait Islander land and Indigenous deeds of grant in trust;land that is transferable land in Queensland under the Aboriginal Land Act 1991 or Torres Strait Islander Land Act 1991 and may be granted as Aboriginal land (freehold) or Torres Strait Islander land (freehold) for the benefit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people; and;land in Queensland that was transferable land under the Aboriginal Land Act 1991 or Torres Strait Islander Land Act 1991 and has been declared not transferable land under those Acts. |
