The areas of regional interest (including Priority Living Area, Priority
Agricultural Area and Strategic Environmental Area) provide greater certainty
for investment in the development of the region’s agricultural and
environmental resources and identified centres and localities, while still
accommodating compatible resource activities to maximise economic development
opportunities. Strategic Cropping Land is used to define Strategic Cropping
Areas and is the fourth area of regional interest under the Regional Planning
Interests Act 2014. Strategic Cropping Areas layer is not available in this
map service. Please refer to other DNRM published services for Strategic
Cropping Areas. Layers within the service are controlled by scale dependencies
to aid display.
