The data sets are organised by group layers including: airborne, ground,
seismic, and hyperspectral surveys, and ASTER map tiles. Airborne surveys are
further categorised by observation type, and seismic surveys are divided into
lines and areas. The Seismic base data requires some manual processing and is
released on a quarterly basis. Other survey layers draw attributes and
geometry directly from the corporate Geological Properties Database, allowing
regular updates as open-access data becomes available. Users can select survey
records and link to associated resources in the [GSQ Open Data
Portal](https://geoscience.data.qld.gov.au:443/) such as reports and data
packages.
