Description: Total Magnetic Intensity (TMI) image of merged regional scale airborne geophysical magnetic surveys carried out across Queensland. The TMI image has been overlaid on a 1st vertical derivative of the TMI data and the grid had a cell size of approximately 80m and values are given in nanoTeslas (nT).
Description: Variable reduced to magnetic Pole (RTP) image of merged regional scale airborne geophysical magnetic surveys carried out across Queensland. This is a subset of Geoscience Australia’s Magmap version 6. The RTP filter simulates how anomalies would appear if the magnetic field was oriented vertically (at the magnetic pole).
Description: First vertical derivative of variable reduced to magnetic pole image of merged regional scale airborne geophysical magnetic surveys carried out across Queensland. The 1VD filter has been applied to a subset of Geoscience Australia’s Magmap version 6. The image shows the vertical rate of change in Earth’s magnetic field.
Description: Ternary image (RBG) of all AWAGS (Australia-Wide Airborne Geophysical Survey) calibrated merged radiometric grids (Potassium, Thorium, Uranium) available in Queensland. More information on the AWAGs project can be found at http://www.ga.gov.au/about/projects/resources/awags
Description: Image of merged grid of gravity data collected in Queensland. Specifically, it is a map of the spherical cap Bouguer anomaly using a density value of 2670kg/m^3 referenced to the Australian Absolute Gravity Datum (AAGD07). The units of the image are gravity units (gu) or µm/s^2 (micrometres per second squared).
Description: An image of the seismic reflector at the top of the Cadna-Owie Formation or equivalents. This reflector marks the transition of the sediments from fluvial (rivers) to a marine environment. The image gives a good representation of the basin architecture.
