Description: Combining the Wet Tropics Management Agency WHA with other exceptional heritage areas across the state of Queensland. The Wet Tropics World Heritage Area lies between Townsville and Cooktown on the north-east coast of Queensland and covers an area of approximately 8940m^2. The area is composed of mostly public land, the majority of which is held in national park tenure. This dataset contains all of the sections that make up the Wet Tropics of Queensland World Heritage Area as well as The Great Barrier Reef along the Queensland coast K’gari (Fraser Island)Gondwana Rainforests of the border ranges of South Eastern (Queensland section)Australian Fossil Mammal Sites (Riversleigh section)
