Description: The Map of Assessable Development Area maps the areas where the development assessment requirements of the South East Queensland Koala Conservation State Planning Regulatory Provisions apply. SEQKPA maps both Assessable Development Areas and Koala Habitat Values over the seven most populous local government divisions of South East Queensland. The objective for each Koala Conservation Plan district is to ensure, having regard to the nature and extent of koala populations in the district, appropriate measures are adopted to achieve the purposes of the Nature Conservation (Koala) Conservation Plan 2006.
