This dataset is paired with the Heavy Vehicles Routes Restrictions dataset. The two datasets must be used together.

To identify the routes throughout Queensland that are approved for Heavy Vehicle Multi-combination and Higher Mass Limits use, as well as oversize vehicles operating on the Critical Road Network.
It shows the different types of approved heavy vehicle routes in Queensland.
Route data is only updated when a new or amended route is approved.
The spatial geometry is equivalent to, and is a subset of, the dataset "Baseline roads and tracks - Queensland". Only about six percent of roads, by centreline count, are Heavy Vehicle routes. Many spatial objects (centrelines) have been shortened by the Heavy Vehicle Operations Unit (TMR) to properly represent the particular route.
The attribution columns are either generated by the Heavy Vehicle Operations Unit (TMR), derived from Baseline Roads and Tracks, or derived from Pitney Bowes Australia Pty Ltd, StreetProNav dataset with permission.
Attribute column source is as follows;
ROUTE_NAME : generated by Heavy Vehicle Operations Unit (TMR)
ROUTE_CODE : generated by Heavy Vehicle Operations Unit (TMR)
STREET : derived from Pitney Bowes' StreetProNav and equivalent to Baseline roads and tracks
ALIAS : derived from Pitney Bowes' StreetProNav
ALIAS2 : derived from Pitney Bowes' StreetProNav
ONEWAY : derived from Pitney Bowes' StreetProNav
STATE_RD_ID : derived from TMR data
LOCALITY : derived from DNRME locality boundaries
LOCALILTY_NUM : derived from DNRME locality boundaries
ASGS_LGA_NUM : derived from DNRME LGA boundaries
This dataset must be used in conjunction with Heavy Vehicle Routes Restrictions Queensland
