 "description": "The watercourse identification map (WIM) series shows the known extent of geographic features that are managed under the Water Act 2000 section 5AA: watercourses, drainage features, downstream limits, lakes, springs.\n\nA lake is represented in the watercourse identification map by a point that is placed near the centre of the lake. If the lake covers multiple land parcels, each parcel will show a lake point.\n\nA lake means -\n(a) if a feature is identified on the watercourse identification map as a lake - means the feature identified on the map; or\n(b) otherwise, includes -\n(i) a lagoon, swamp or other natural collection of water, whether permanent or intermittent; and\n(ii) the bed and banks and any other element confining or containing the water.\n\nFurther information on the intent and use of the watercourse identification map is shown at https://www.business.qld.gov.au/industries/mining-energy-water/water/maps-data/watercourse-map.",
