 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This dataset is a Soil Landscapes map covering the State of Queensland, and is a subset of the national <\/SPAN><SPAN>Atlas of Australian Soils<\/SPAN><SPAN>dataset <\/SPAN><SPAN>(Northcote et al. 1960-1968)<\/SPAN><SPAN>. <\/SPAN><SPAN>The digital version of the Atlas of Australian Soils was created by NRIC in 1991 from scanned tracings of the published hardcopy maps (1 - 10)<\/SPAN><SPAN>. The mapping scale is 1: 2,000,000 and 1,426 Soil Landscapes were identified.
