The Nature Conservation (Koala) Conservation Plan 2017 <\/SPAN>(Koala Conservation Plan 2017) <\/SPAN>includes the following <\/SPAN>koala<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>districts - (a) koala district A, (b) koala district B and (c) koala district C. The objective for each koala district is to ensure, having<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>regard to the nature and extent of koala populations in the<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>district, appropriate measures are taken to achieve the<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>purposes of th<\/SPAN>e Koala Conservation Plan<\/SPAN>, including<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>measures that\u2014<\/SPAN><\/P>

(a) monitor koala populations in the district and threats to<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>the survival of koalas in the district; and<\/SPAN><\/P>

(b) monitor and review the effectiveness of conservation<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>measures for koalas and koala habitats in the district;<\/SPAN><\/P>

and<\/SPAN><\/P>

(c) provide education and management strategies to help<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>manage threats to the survival of koala populations in<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>the wild, including, for example, threats caused by dog<\/SPAN> <\/SPAN>attacks or vehicle strikes.<\/SPAN><\/P>
