The objective for each koala district is to ensure, having<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>regard to the nature and extent of koala populations in the<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>district, appropriate measures are taken to achieve the<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>purposes of th<\/SPAN><SPAN>e Koala Conservation Plan<\/SPAN><SPAN>, including<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>measures that\u2014<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>(a) monitor koala populations in the district and threats to<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>the survival of koalas in the district; and<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>(b) monitor and review the effectiveness of conservation<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>measures for koalas and koala habitats in the district;<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>and<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>(c) provide education and management strategies to help<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>manage threats to the survival of koala populations in<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>the wild, including, for example, threats caused by dog<\/SPAN><SPAN> <\/SPAN><SPAN>attacks or vehicle strikes.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN /><\/P><P><SPAN>Clearing requirements in koala districts are in Part 3 of the Koala Conservation Plan 2017, including:<\/SPAN><\/P><UL><LI><P><SPAN>sequential clearing (s10)<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><LI><P><SPAN>koala spotter needed (s11)<\/SPAN><\/P><\/LI><\/UL><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
