<suppInfo>Feature Types: LiDAR Tile Footprint – As LiDAR data sets are very large, the data is broken into smaller parcles for data management. Generally these smaller parcels are square in shape and 1 or 2 square km in area (however areas can be any size). In earlier projects this was not the case and parcles along the edges of a project were truncated to follow the original request extent and not a complete tile. The LiDAR tile footprint displays the extent of an individual tile.
Attributes: FEATURE (Feature Type) - Unique feature type that identifies the feature e.g. LiDAR Tile Footprint
TILE_NAME (Tile Name) – Unique identifier of the tile LOCATION (Location) – General location of the data (town or region name) within the state as well as the directory name where the data is stored within the departmental server PROJECT (Project Name) – Name and year of the capture project (the year is when the project was tendered and may differ from the acquisition year) Start_DATE (Acquisition Start Date) – Start date of acquisition of data
End_Date (Acquisition End Date) – End date of acquisition of data
MGA_ZONE (MGA Zone) – The Map Grid of Australia zone the data is in e.g. MGA Zone 56
CLASS_LAS (Classified LAS) – Is the data available in Classified LAS (Yes/No). In the Classified LAS data, the laser strikes are classified in accordance with ASPRS V1.1 LAS file standards various point class levels
