"description":"USER NOTICE (effective 26 June 2026): This service has been republished in Web Mercator (EPSG:3857) as part of alignment with departmental open data standards. Previously, the service was published in GDA94 geographic coordinates (EPSG:4283).  Coordinates are now provided as projected X/Y values in metres rather than longitude/latitude in decimal degrees. This change may affect existing applications, scripts, APIs, and ETL workflows (including FME workspaces) that assume geographic coordinates. Users are advised to review and test any integrations that consume this service.This service provides access to common administrative boundaries across Queensland, including localities, postcodes, local government areas and electoral boundaries. The data supports the identification of the administrative jurisdictions associated with a location. Boundaries are displayed at appropriate scales, from the extent of Queensland through to local and property-level mapping.
