This linear feature class describes the location of the wild dog barrier and check fences in southern Queensland. The barrier fence sections of the feature class were built from GPS points captured on a Garmin GPS. The source of the check fences is unknown. The barrier and check fence linear features were revised in 2016 using the most currently available imagery available from the SISP subscription service. The barrier fence itself is maintained by Biosecurity Queensland, Queensland Department of Agriculture and Fisheries. The check fences are maintained by the relevant Local Government Authorities.

The barrier fence sections of this dataset was compiled using GPS, which has a known accuracy limitation of 5-10m. The linear feature class was upated using best available imagery in 2016, including orthophotos and SPOT imagery. As such, the dataset may contain some spatial errors.
