This is the electronic map called 'Strategic Cropping Land Zone Map' under Section 26 of the Strategic Cropping Land Act 2011. This dataset defines the five Strategic Cropping Land (SCL) zones to which the zonal criteria apply, and which together define the total areal extent of the SCL policy in Queensland. Broad climatic zones were used with the western and northern boundaries developed from crop production and climatic modelling. The zone boundaries have been mapped to align with features such as roads and property (cadastral) boundaries. The cadastral data used for this dataset is accurate as at May 2011.
Unrestricted to all levels of government and community: Dataset is available to all government agencies, community groups and individuals. Dataset is available through physical supply and may be made available via web delivery tools, for example, through the Department of Natural Resources and Mines, Manufacturing, and Regional and Rural Development’s internet sites.

This dataset is GDA2020 compatible. The source data, and therefore the captured features are georeferenced as GDA94 (horizontal only). The horizontal accuracy of the geo-referencing and/or data collection method for this example is greater than the datum offset between GDA94 and GDA2020 (1.8 meters). The resulting dataset has been nominated as a low-accuracy GDA2020 dataset. As this data has not been directly measured in GDA2020, nor transformed to GDA2020 the resulting data is 'GDA2020 Compatible', not Compliant.
