The positional accuracy of this data, mapped at a scale of 1:100,000, is 100 metres. The map scale of 1:50,000 applies to the Wet Tropics, part of South-eastern Queensland and New England Tableland. The map scale of 1:25,000 applies to the Brisbane City and Gold Coast City Council areas within South-eastern Queensland. Broad Vegetation Groups (BVG) are derived from the Regional Ecosystem (RE) mapping. The 1:1 million BVG, derived from the Regional Ecosystem Description Database (REDD), is added by lookup table. The dominant BVG 1:1 million (DBVG1M) is determined by the percentages of each BVG in the polygon. The dominant BVG 1:2 million and BVG 1:5 million (DBVG2M, DBVG5M) are added by lookup table according to the dominant BVG 1:1 million.

The positional accuracy at a scale of 1:100,000, is 100 metres; Survey sites +/- 10m. Derived from regional ecosystem mapping series
This dataset is GDA2020 compatible. The source data, and therefore the captured features are georeferenced as GDA94 (horizontal only). The horizontal accuracy of the geo-referencing and/or data collection method for this example is greater than the datum offset between GDA94 and GDA2020 (1.8 meters). The resulting dataset has been nominated as a low-accuracy GDA2020 dataset. As this data has not directly measured in GDA2020, nor transformed to GDA2020 the resulting data is 'GDA2020 Compatible', not Compliant.

All polygons visually checked at 1:100,000 scale and by topological consistency checks.
A test of consistency for Broad Vegetation Group values between the pre-clearing and remnant coverages.
